  2. Thixotropic jelly
  3. Loose tube
  4. Aramid yarns
  5. Groove HDPE outer jacket (black), UV stabilized

OPTIX MICRO GROOVE ZW-XOTKtcdD MC202 cables are a family of client micro-canalisation cables for micro-tubes of up to 3.0mm in internal diameter. A light, small diameter construction, strengthened by aramid yarns, a gel that protects the fibres against water (WB), fully dielectric, (0.3mm) HDPE coat - UV radation resistance, installation tension strength: 50N, temperature range between -20°C and + 70°C - an equivalent to: ZW-XOTKtcdD.

The Micro GROOVE cable has a carbonated outer shell which makes the blowing-in of the cable easier.

All cable fibres and tubes are colour coded acording to the "EIA/TIA-598" standard. Each tube containing up to 24 optical fibres is filled with a hydrophobic gel for anti-moisture and anti-vibration fibre protection. The cables are meant for installation by pneumatic (blow-in) methods.
